Anyone who says that summer officially ends on Labor Day weekend has clearly never been to LouFest. The annual music festival held on September 10 and 11 in St. Louis lived up to the hype this year, boasting a lineup exploding with talent such as Chris Stapleton, St. Lucia, The Kills, Foxing, Twin Peaks, and Band of Horses—just to name a few.
The kickass two-day event played host to over 30 performances spread out onto four separate stages—so obviously we put our Chucks to good use running to catch all of the amazing headliners.
Held in Forest Park, the festival made us feel like kids in a candy shop with their range of country, alternative-rock, and funk performers. Starting off with a performance from The Sleeping Rubies and ending with a set from LCD Soundsystem, we were hyped about the opportunity to snap pics of this incredibly energetic weekend.
If you need us we’ll be spending the rest of the week going through the five stages of concert withdrawal, looking through the photos below.
