With seven emotional, easygoing, and empowering albums under her belt, we've come to understand that is a musical powerhouse that can do no wrong. In her most recent album, It Doesn’t Have to Make Sense, the American singer-songwriter brings listeners through the last year and a half of her life, filled with loss, heartbreak, and moments of realization.
The Staten Island-born songstress recently announced her Hell No Tour, a nod to her latest single with the same name, which is all about convincing us not to get back together with our no-good, cheating boyfriend (or girlfriend).
We were able to sing our mended hearts out with Ingrid at her show in Michigan, as she played on the historic stage at the Fillmore Detroit. With a wide range of songs like “The Way I Am”, “You and I”, and “Maybe”, the singer showered the audience with her past and present hits, before bringing us back in time to 1961 with a beautifully simple rendition of Elvis Presley’s “I Can’t Help Falling in Love With You”.
Ingrid is still in the middle of her tour, so check out these pics, and track her with Bandsintown to see when she’ll be hitting a city near you.
