There has always been an outpouring of incredible bands from Philadelphia to emerge onto music scenes everywhere from the punk underground to mainstream radio. In the last few short years, ears outside of the tri-state area have been graced with the likes of Hop Along, Japanese Breakfast, Nothing, CRUISR, Marian Hill, Tunji Ige, and Cheerleader. The latter of whom have toured with everyone from The Wombats, to Eliot Sumner and most recently, Caveman.
The quintet, featuring Joe Haller (vocals, guitar), Chris Duran (lead guitar), Paul Impellizeri (vocals, bass), Josh Pannepacker (keys), and Carl Bahner (drums), also took us around their hometown a few months ago with their Philly City Guide exclusively on Bandsintown—a definite must-read.
We caught their hometown show last month at Johnny Brenda's and snagged some super awesome pics of the "A Million Ways" band and highly recommend you checking out one of their shows when they come to your town. Be sure to Track Cheerleader on Bandsintown so you never miss another live concert by the band!
