Ever wanted to curate your own music festival, complete with all the musicians, vendors, and camping amenities that you could ever dream of? You're in luck, because Dover, Delaware's very own Firefly has announced that for the first time that their 2017 event will be a completely fan-curated. No, we're not kidding.
For the four-day event's fifth go-around, they will incorporate fans' opinions into their decision-making process for everything from the merchandise designs to what food vendors will be serving it up on the festival grounds. In a press release, an organizer explained their reasoning for making it a group-decision, saying, "We've always emphasized the importance of producing a festival for our guests, and now we'll be the first festival to truly give fans a voice and the ability to guide the future of Firefly."
To help them play the Genie to your Aladdin, Firefly is asking that fans create a profile on their website to begin building your perfect experience for 2017.
Tickets to the event will go on sale early 2017, so keep your eyes peeled so you don't miss out on this sure-to-be-historic fest.
