Post-hardcore band Underoath took to the Liacouras Center stage in Philadelphia on March 22, and we were feeling blessed to be there. This arena is often used for Temple University’s basketball games, but fans traded their foam fingers for fist pumps this time around for a show which also saw performances from Bring Me the Horizon and Beartooth. Luckily for those not in attendance this concert, the North American stint will be hitting major cities like Seattle and Phoenix in the coming weeks.
The Tampa-natives performed hits like “A Moment Suspended in Time” and “Breathing in a New Mentality,” ending with the popular “Writing on the Walls,” from their album, Define the Great Line. Lead singer, Spencer Chamberlain mentioned while onstage that the band will be touring through Philadelphia again “pretty soon”—something we desperately hope comes to fruition. Beartooth’s set was a little shorter, but included some of our favorite tracks like “Sick of Me” and “Fairweather Friend”.
Are you Tracking Underoath and Beartooth on Bandsintown yet? You’re not gonna want to miss the next time they come to your city.
