With harmonious vocals and vibrant melodies, California band Run River North fully embodies the laid-back, indie pop sound. Formed in 2011 with the original name Monsters Calling Home, the 6-piece has been catching the attention of music lovers everywhere. Since having their song “Fight to Keep” featured in a Honda commercial and making a surprise performance on Jimmy Kimmel in 2012, the band has continued to accrue an ever-growing fan base.
On May 8 at The Club at Stage AE in Pittsburgh, Run River North provided their fans with a night of smooth rock‘n’roll. Walking onto the stage to the Jurassic Park theme song, the San Fernando Valley performers provided the crowd with both their earlier, lighter tracks as well as songs off their latest release, Drinking From A Salt Pond.
