If you thought Portugal. The Man’s latest album Woodstock was mind-blowing, just wait until you see it performed live. On July 29 at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles, the Alaska natives put on a wild performance brimming with colorful lasers, a backing string section, and even some breakdancers. Among fan favorites like “Feel It Still” and “Modern Jesus”, the group also dove into a mashup of covers including Ghostface Killah's "Kilo" and the Beatles' "I Want You".
The five-piece—John Gourley, Zachary Carothers, Kyle O’Quin, Eric Howk, Jason Sechrist—will be on a world tour throughout the fall, making stops in North America, Europe, and South American before wrapping with a performance at Suwannee Hulaween on October 29.
