Whether you’re an electro veteran or someone who has always wanted to scope out New York’s booming music scene, The Brooklyn Electronic Music Festival is what you need this weekend.
Today, October 12, through Saturday, October 14, the BEMF will hit venues across Williamsburg, Park Slope, Bushwick, and Greenpoint. Since 2008, the multi-day affair has brought together the vibe of intimate shows with the scope of a major festival lineup to create a kick-ass, weekend-long dance party. This year’s lineup features both established artists like DJ Marky and TOKiMONSTA and emerging electronic musicians with niche sounds like J-Cush or Harvard Bass.
The festival will host warehouse parties, nightly film screenings, art shows, and club events in addition to the sure-to-be epic festival performances.
To get pumped for the next few days, check out our Complete BEMF Festival Playlist below, which features tunes from every artist on the lineup. If you haven’t already, snag a pair of tickets for the weekend here.
