From the outskirts of Los Angeles comes Liily, the newest addition to the alternative scene. These five teenaged badasses are holding nothing back as they barrel headfirst into the rib-rattling world of live music. And they are not for the faint of heart, as they’re known to rev up their fans to the point of absolute chaos. “We like our music to make people crazy,” says guitarist Sam De La Torre. “It has a lot of energy. We want to make people move. When we write something, we want it to hit really hard. If we knock people out, we’ve done our job.”
Their brand new video of their single “Sold” is the perfect example of just how wild things can get at a Liily show. The guys say “SOLD is a scene-for-scene account of Francis Ford Coppola's 1972 film The Godfather.” Dylan Nash has the mic as he sings “You told me I was the one with the gun and a tool kit. Why would you pick on a little white boy turned misfit?” to the raging moshpit in the audience, as his bandmates headbang right along with them. The video even ends with bassist Charlie Anastasis tackling the drum kit to the ground in a post performance frenzy.
