Since 1988, music-lovers from all over have come to the tiny town of Tilmon, Texas to see some of the best bluegrass, folk, country, and roots acts the country has to offer. The Old Settler’s Music Festival is a Lone Star State tradition consisting of three days of incredible musical acts, local food vendors, and other activities for kids and adults alike.
Their 2019 lineup included Americana legend Brandi Carlile, who recently performed at the 61st Grammy Awards, where she was also nominated for an impressive six awards and won Best American Roots Song and Performance. Four-time Grammy winner Jason Isbell also headlined, performing an acoustic set with his band, the 400 Unit. Modern acts like Amanda Shires, Black Pumas, and Mandolin Orange brought exciting energy to the fest, while classic acts like The Del McCoury Band and Los Legends (featuring Flaco Jiminez, Ruben Ramos, and Rick Trevino) brought their talent for their unforgettable old school performances.
