Who’s ready for a weekend full of day parties, vendor marketplaces, art installations, pop-up desert spas, crowds of food trucks, and of course, good music?! The Trans-Pecos Festival of Music + Love is just around the corner, and we can't wait to hit up the West Texas desert. For their 14th Annual Festival, which kicks off September 26th, they’ll once again be bringing music lovers the best cosmic vibes and headliners to the magical city of Marfa, including acts like Broken Social Scene, Margo Price, Luna, Chicano Batman, and Girl Talk.
Taking place at the El Cosmico, the city's iconic hotel and campground, attendees get to enjoy a communal concept and sleep in vintage trailers, Sioux-style tepees, yurts, and safari tents. When festival-goers aren't sleeping or watching the bands hit the stage, there are tons of onsite activities to choose from such as sandlot baseball games, art displays, clothing vendors, a Ferris Wheel, and the Scribe Wine Lodge. When it comes times to wind down, there will also be CBD workshops, massages, and acupuncture.
As for the lineup? Folk, country, indie, Americana favorites will be taking over the El Cosmico’s stage, including the likes of Valley Queen, Orville Peck, The Suffers, Butch Walker, and Tift Merritt. Hits like Peck's “Dead of Night” and The Suffers' “Make Some Room” will have you dancing under the Texas stars all weekend long.
The festival is kicking off in one week, so get your tickets now on El Cosmico's website. To prepare for the weekend, check out our playlist below featuring our favorite tracks from the lineup.
