During these difficult times, we want to remind you that we are all in this together, just like when we are in the mosh pit cheering on our favorite artists and bands.
We are doing our best to keep up with cancelations and are working with artists and ticket providers to keep our information as up-to-date as possible. To make sure you don’t miss any important updates, keep an eye on our website or download our app here to track your favorite artists, receive their messages and be the first to know when they’ll be back on tour or announce a new live streamed show.
As artists, musicians and their crews will be severely impacted by this crisis, and we are working day and night at Bandsintown to provide new opportunities for them to stay in touch with their fans. To help, we’ve partnered with MusiCares to help collect donations for their COVID-19 fund so artists can get back on their feet.
As true music fans, there are ways you can help us help artists. If you’re able to, avoid asking for refunds, buy their merch, attend their live shows when they return, donate to tips jars, or donate to MusiCares.
To help raise more funds for MusiCares and help artists stay in touch with their fans, we are launching Bandsintown Live, our own live music channel on Twitch! Here you can live stream sets from incredible artists across all genres and connect with fellow music fans. Join us this Friday for the first show on Bandsintown Live to watch the world-renowned DJ Black Coffee stream live from South Africa. We’ll be announcing even more new shows on Bandsintown Live soon, plus you’ll receive notifications directly from the artists you track on Bandsintown.
If you are an artist that’s struggling in these uncertain times, please feel free to stay in touch. Our artist blog is a free fantastic guide to help you promote merch, live streams, find alternative streams of revenue for canceled shows, and more. If you’re planning to live stream a performance, email us at livestream@bandsintown.com to let us know so we can alert your fans and add your show to our listings.
The music is still alive in our hearts, in our minds and will soon be back on stage.
