James moved to Birmingham, Alabama at 21 years old to chase his dreams. He formed the four piece band Early James and the Latest (coined from his late arrivals to rehearsal.) The classic country, heavy blues and rock sound combine with brutally honest lyrics to bring rich southern roots.
20 year old poet and singer from London initially grabbed attention with her debut single, “Cola.” Her infectious, raw, and tender sound inspired by Portishead and Earl Sweatshirt kept fans coming back for more. Her debut album is expected to drop in 2021.
With the release of a mesmerizing cover of Nina Simone’s “Blackbird,” this singer signaled the arrival of a new voice in jazz. Her compelling voice which reflects the likes of Billie Holiday, Tina Turner, and Gladys Knight sets Lady Blackbird (aka Marley Munroe) apart from anyone else on the scene right now. Her debut album, Black Acid Soul, is set to be released soon.
