Austin City Limits, we’ve been waiting for you. Weekend one of the iconic music festival was a total success. Full of vibrant performances, delicious cuisine, and an overall excellent time, the two-year delay was well worth it. Tyler, The Creator, Erykah Badu, Tate McRae, and many others made for a super fun weekend.
Under the signature festival flags, fans rejoiced in the return of live music. Each set was extra special, with everyone over the moon to be back at Zilker Park. Saturday night was a major peak, as “Say So” hitmaker Doja Cat had the audience screaming along to every single word. Her performance of “Tia Tamera” was basically a duet with festival goers, as she held out her microphone and they completed the track’s lyrics with enthusiasm and fervor. On Sunday, alternative-rock queen St. Vincent ushered fans into the world of her new album Daddy’s Home. Dressed in a 1970s-inspired outfit and blonde wig, she performed tracks from her newest project, while also incorporating fan favorites like “Digital Witness” and “New York.”
ACL is a festival season staple, and we cannot wait to do it all over again next weekend. Check out photos from the festival below, and be sure to track all the artists on Bandsintown!
