This weekend, Shaky Knees was back with a bang. The Atlanta festival celebrated its eighth year with an all-encompassing lineup featuring The Strokes, Portugal. The Man, Phoebe Bridgers, and tons of other showstopping acts. Safe to say, this year’s festivities won’t soon be forgotten.
Alice Cooper had all eyes on him during his Saturday night set. In his famous horror-inspired fashion, Cooper pulled out all the stops, hypnotizing the audience with his performances of “Poison” and “School’s Out.” The heavy metal juggernaut served as the perfect reminder that Halloween is coming up soon. On Sunday, country-shoegaze crooner Orville Peck took over the Peachtree stage. His cowboy cover of Lady Gaga’s “Born This Way” was a highlight, with the crowd screaming along.
Shaky Knees 2021 was such a hit, and lucky for us, we only have to wait till April for the next one. Check out our photos from the festival below, track all the artists on Bandsintown, and stay tuned for next year’s lineup!
