We’ve all been there—you’re standing in line at a coffee shop, boutique, or bar and a new track playing from the speakers grabs you. The go-to solution is always Shazam, which has blessed us throughout the years with the gift of finding out the answer to the “who” and the “what” when it comes to all-things music identification.
Now, we’ve teamed up with Shazam to answer the “where,” when it comes to music discovery.
Announced today, Shazam has launched a suite of concert features, making it easy for you to explore upcoming live shows at the drop of a dime. By simply Shazaming a song, searching for it in the Shazam app or on the Shazam website, fans can find concert information and tickets on sale for future gigs nearby, a full-stop experience powered by Bandsintown.
“As live music returns, we’re on a mission to help artists get more visibility for their shows,” said Fabrice Sergent, our managing partner. “Pent up demand from fans eager to go back to concerts is being met by an unprecedented level of live shows from artists on tour.”
For those who want to delve a little deeper, fans can also launch a Shazam Artist page to explore dates, times and locations of upcoming live shows, tap on any concert to view additional tour information, share show details, and add events to their calendar.
Be sure to test the new concert features, which are live now and available on iOS and Android!
