Seattle music festival the Capitol Hill Block Party was held July 22-24 in Seattle Washington featuring acts: Crystal Castles, Washed Out, Head Wound City, MØ, and more! Rainy city, rockin' block party.

Seattle has a rich musical tradition that spawned the likes of Nirvana and Pearl Jam, and that history is certainly worthy of celebration. Each year, the Pacific Northwestern Festival takes over six blocks in the rainy city and throws down like only Seattle can.

The purpose of the fest is to celebrate the city’s arts and music center, Capitol Hill, so of course the best local bands lent their talents to the block party, with Heavy Petting, Merso, and more gracing the stage at their hometown’s festival. Although the block party is known to give special shine to local Seattle acts, the music concert also featured national acts like Crystal Castles, Washed Out, Head Wound City, and MØ.

Check out our photos from Capitol Hill Block Party below and then Track all the artists who performed to see when they'll be coming to a city near you!
