After recently hitting a string of North American dates with Jake Bugg, Nina Nesbitt will be embarking on her own headlining run on April 10 at The Back Room Colectivo in Milwaukee, WI. Her next album will be coming out in Summer 2018. Currently on her headlining US tour!

Singer-songwriter Nina Nesbitt isn't afraid of change, and is proving to all of us why we shouldn't be either. Since emerging onto the scene 2011, she's undergone a total transformation, from her personal style to her approach to music to how she's handled her career. It's all led her to the independent artist she is today—one that isn't afraid to challenge herself, hone her craft, and find her voice.

Her confidence in her new music is contagious, too. The three tracks she's put out thus far off her forthcoming album ("The Moments I'm Missing", "The Best You Had", "Somebody Special"), have amassed the over 50 million streams on Spotify alone. The latter single, released earlier this year, is the Summer 2018 bop destined to be blaring at every rooftop party you attend in the coming months.

After recently hitting the road with Jake Bugg, the Scottish multi-instrumentalist is now on her headlining run, where she's performing new tunes for fans across the US. With five shows remaining (Washington DC, you're up next!), there's still time to nab tickets to see her live if you're on the east coast.

We caught up with Nesbitt to figure out what she's been jamming to in-between shows, which includes bangers from SZA, Sasha Sloan, MAX, and more. Check out her playlist below, then make sure to Track Nesbitt on Bandsintown to stay updated with all her touring news!

Nina Nesbitt's Tour Bus Playlist

1. 'Somebody Special' (R3hab Remix) - Nina Nesbitt

This is one of my favourite remixes of "Somebody Special". I’ve been a big fan of R3hab for a while, so I was excited when he sent me this. It gives the song new life I think.

2. 'Supermodel' - SZA

I love the whole album by SZA and this is one of my favourite tracks on it. I love how the lyrics feel really free and effortless. She’s always got great concepts.

3. 'Unravel Me' - Sabrina Claudio

Sabrina released one of my favourite albums last year, About Time. This is my favourite track on the album, it makes me feel really elegant whenever I listen to it, (which I’m totally not). It’s such a beautiful, feminine record.

4. 'I Like Me Better' - Lauv

Loving the Lauv stuff that I’ve been hearing. Great pop songs with catchy hooks, and I’m a fan of his voice.

5. 'Here' - Sasha Sloan

This is such a beautifully heartbreaking song. I had the pleasure of collaborating with this girl earlier this year and think she’s one of the best writers around.

6. 'Waiting Game' - Banks

An old one but a favourite of mine. I love everything about Banks, especially the lyrics and production in this song.

7. 'Call Out My Name' - The Weekend

I’ve listened to The Weeknd since high school and he’s always kept me hooked with every release. This is my favourite track on the mini album. Can’t wait to see what he does next.

8. Untitled - Bibi Bourelly

Big fan of Bibi. Love how vibey this track is. Her lyrics are fearless and raw.

9. A Case Of You - Joni Mitchell

A classic. One of my favourite old songs. The lyrics are like poetry, I’m fascinated by how she creates such a picture in my mind through her words. I love the falsetto in this too.

10. Lights Down Low - MAX

So happy for Max’s success this year. This is a banger and his energy on stage is amazing. Can’t wait to hear more.

I spent my first allowance on a TLC 'Waterfalls' cassette and have been a different version of David Bowie for Halloween the past five years. Golden rule: You can never have too many tacos in a single 24-hour period.
